Not a tahini fan? neither was I until I tried this smoothie
Have you tried and tried with tahini and no matter what you do…..you just don’t like?
I was the same, I had a whole jar in the cupboard to get through so I was willing try anything.. Then I discovered “my smoothie”, this is the smoothie I go to for breakfast, for a snack, or for a post dinner treat. It also has some pretty great health benefits, especially for your gut. I won’t beat around the bush - here It is!
“MY SMOOTHIE” RECIPE
1 cup plant-based milk (I use coconut)
1 heaped teaspoon tahini
1/2 frozen banana
2 Tbsp Avocado
1 scoop probiotic powder
Then blend the ingredients together; and as every recipe says ENJOY!
I know you might be thinking it’s a little high in calories, but a) they are good fats, b) good fats will keep you fuller for longer, so you actually eat less throughout the day. Plus you get loads of energy, and all those pre and probiotics for your gut.
Try one, once a day, and see how you feel.
